Happy Saturday! A week ago, I drove to Charlottesville to meet Nicole at an apple orchard. The views from the mountains were filled with acres and acres of apple trees. It. Was. Amazing. What a way to start off the season!
(Minus the 80+ degree weather that day.)
I haven't been apple picking since I was 4 years old and living in New York, so this was exciting.
We grabbed our apple pickin' buckets and headed down the steep paths where the reddest apples were found. We stumbled upon this quiet, shaded area. Surprisingly, there weren't any people coming our way, so I thought, "What a perfect spot to snap a few photos."
Turns out we were in the off limits zone. (Whoops!) But a little rule-breaking never hurt anyone, and I was able to get some awesome shots.
On a side note, did I mention that I love making flower crowns?!
